Not much different
from the first Happy Feet,
Happy Feet Two is
still told about Emperor Land, the land of penguins that make singing
as a way to attract mates. In the film, Mumble
and Gloria who is
the main character happy feet 1 has grown up
and married. Mumble
and Gloria have
a son named Erick.
When all
penguins were singing and dancing,
Erick just quiet with no moves
look to the other penguins. Seeing Erick, Mumble and Gloria intended to
increase Erick’s interest to join in the singing and dancing with all of
them. Mumble tried to talk with Erick, and teach him a simple way to
dance.
When Erick started trying to dance by himself, he was
slipping and fell. Other penguin laughed on him. Erick was very embarrassed and disappointed in his
father, Mumble. He hated Happy feet dance!. Erick
escaped. He decided to come with Ramon
that wanted to go to Adelie Land. Erick accompanied by his 2 friends, Boadicia dan Atticius.
In Adelie
Land, Erick and
friends, met with lovelace and a very special Penguin's
that admired by many other penguins, The Mighty
Sven. Sven was
different with other Penguins.
He can fly. It
makes Erick was amazed at Sven.
Erick
asked Sven and lovelace to tell about their history. Sven
was a penguin who
lost his habitats. He is the only
one remaining special penguin in his race. His flying ability saved him. He flew a very far distance
with a variety of hurdles. Until he met
the man who then takecare and recover him. About lovelace, Lovelace was a penguin who was stranded in aseaof mud which then rescued by the same
human. At that
time, lovelace think
if Sven were
a savior god
that adopt by the human.
Oneday, Sven saw
the human was eating poultry. He thought that
he and lovelace also will be eaten by
humans. Sven asked lovelace to leave that place. Until finally
landed in Adelie Land
and showed something that has never been seen by Adelie penguin land.
That’s green!. Since that time, Sven promised to use his ability only for the good. so he adored by other penguins. one that I
remember is Sven’s think, “If you want it, you must will it. If you will it, it
will be yours.” And I also remember that Sven think made Ramon and Cermen was
in love.
The departure of Erick, boadica
and Atticus made
their parents worried. Mumble decided to look for
Erick and the others.
Until finally mumble
found Erick and
the others in Adelie Land and asked them to go home.
Erick did not want to go back to Emperor Land. He wanted
to stay in Adelie Land. Seeing that, Sven
advised to Erick
until Erick decided to go home with his parent.
On the way home, Mumble
felt the vibrations on the ice and saw some ice are collapse. Apparently the earthquake occurred. On the other side, in the Emperor land, ice shifting was happen. And make land emperor
stuck and surrounded with high ice
cliffs. On the way home, Boadicia, Atticus, Erick,
and his Daddy passed
many tough hurdles. One of
them is helped Bryan the beachmaster back together with his sons.
In Emperor Land, they were
confused by change in the form of ice that surrounds / clamping Emperor land
so it cannot go out anywhere. Mumble thought to ask for help to Adelie Land.
But Boadicia decided to go there alone and
told the others stayed in place including Mumble, Erick and Atticus
to catch fish for other penguins’ kids.
No need a long time, Boadicia back with Sven,
Lovelace, and others
Adelie penguins. Sven directed all the penguins to work together to catch
fish for the Emperor penguins that stuck between the ice.
While fishing, the penguins suddenly look the humans’ ship
that have ever treated Sven and
Lovelace. Sven was
very frightened because he thought
they were poultry eaters. In contrast, Lovelace was
very happy and asked for their
help to solve the problem of
trapped Emperor penguin.
The humans were carved the
ice and made a way out to the
penguins. But, before the humans finish a way
out for penguins, snow came and made them
not to continue their work. After the
snow overed, The the
humans left the road and did not continue
it. The humans’ help was useless
and not at all helpful.
Then, The
penguin tried to
slide and fly to
get out of the trap, but still not help. Here
Sven admitted that he was a bird, not a Penguin. Because
penguins indeed can’t fly. Erick
was very disappointed and shocked to hear that.
No more hope. Suddenly,
Mumble had an idea. He was dancing "Happy Feet". The beat of his feet made the ice slide, shrink and even
collapse. Everyone followed Mumble, including Erick
who ever said that
he hated the happy feet.
But the beat of penguins’ feet just made little shift of the ice cliff. Mumble thought to look for the larger
help. He decided to
asked help to bryan the beachmaster which
certainly has a greater power to be able to tear
down the ice cliff. Unfortunately, Bryan refused
to help the emperor penguin nation because Mumble came at an inapposite time. Mumble is very disappointed to
Bryan who ever used his help before. Erick suddenly
sang to his
father. The song touched the hearts of Bryan nation.
So finally, they decided to go to the emperor
land and helped.
In Emperor Land, Bryan
nation trying to
dance with a very large mass, and finally
they can do it. With
great effort, the
ice cliff collapsed and made
a way out to the
emperor penguin. They
are free and not trapped anymore. Here,
too, recognized that Erick has advantages inherited
by his father and mother, Mumble and Gloria. Erick can dance and sing well.
Finally, Mumble, Gloria, and Erick united. Mumble
said thanks to bryan. And bryan said “Don’t worry”. The united of the north pole animals were very amazing.
